The intense heat is really getting to me. It’s definitely summer already, with the sun always shining bright, and you know what else that means? Summer trips!! To the beach, to the mountains, wherever!
It’s easier said than done, because to have a comfortable trip, you’ll be needing funding, and with commodity prices rising here and there, it’s a challenge to save money. In times like these, I turn to quick cash solutions like selling stuff online to take care of my travel fund.
Surprise surprise, the country’s biggest buy and sell website, OLX.ph is actually having a promo when you put up an ad! Just put up a selling ad from March 7 to April 8, 2016, and get a chance to be the Grand Winner of a 100,000 peso shopping spree and a Trip for 4 to Batanes, Palawan, Cebu or Boracay! 10 winners will also get to win 50,000 peso shopping spree on OLX!
With this promo, you not only get a chance to make money by selling used or brand new goods, but also win a trip with your barkada, along with a shopping spree! We’ll definitely get to SELLebrate with this ultimate summer #NAKSPERIENCEpromo!!
As for me, i’m already going through my closet to find stuff to sell! i really want to win that trip to Batanes, but the airfare is so expensive!!
This one is one of my oldest ootds, and I actually don’t use the blazer, pants and shoes anymore so I might put up OLX ads for those.
I’m also planning on selling this oxblood colored multi-way bag, as well as my white pumps!
Still thinking if should sell the pastel pink bag, buuuuut it’s still too pretty. So I might sell the fedora and the shoes instead.
I’m off to an afternoon of scavenging for stuff to sell on OLX!
For extra inspiration, I browsed through my friend Paul Dy’s Batanes travelogue, and attached a few breathtaking photos of the island!
Now, don’t you want want to SELLebrate on OLX with me, if just to see this beautiful view?

In today’s fast paced world, there’s always something new on the market, be it the latest gadget, clothes, car, among others. Because everything is easily accessible these days, you can just open Facebook and see tons of people sharing bucketlist articles, or dream destinations. We want all of these, and yet, they’re not so easy to attain because our budget is alloted to more practical things we really need in our daily lives. Saving up is a challenge, because we usually end up spending the money for rent, utilities, bills, and even emergencies.
This 2016, Watsons wants to help you save up and finally get that trip, gadget, or even big ticket items like a car or a house! Watsons, Asia’s leading health and beauty retailer, helps customers to shop wisely and strategically by providing them with quality products at friendly prices. To make shoppers even more motivated, they did the Watson’s Switcher’s Surprise Campaign, rewarding shoppers with unbelievable prizes!
The Watsons Switcher’s Surprise campaign brings to life the idea that by switching to the Watsons label, customers are able to save money for things that they really want or that matters the most to them.
Lucky shoppers who made the Switch to Watsons and Saved on their budgets were in for a surprise and got a taste of what they are saving for. Watch this video and find out what our celebrity brand ambassadors Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Lorna Tolentino, Christian Bautista, Patty Laurel, and Iya Villania got in store for them!
Last January, several shoppers at the SM Mall of Asia had a double surprise waiting for them simply by making the switch and choosing Watsons Label products. These include a wide range of selected products from personal care to generic medicines like Watsons Glutathione, Watsons Travel Hair Dryer, Watsons Argan Oil Hair Conditioner, Watsons Body Scrub, Watsons Collagen, and Watsons Breath Strips, among others.
I was there when all of this happened, too bad the video camera didn’t catch me and the other bloggers clapping like crazy because we were so happy for the winners!
During designated hours of the day, shoppers who pick up specially marked Watsons Label products instantly get the chance to win fabulous prizes, such as a flatscreen TV, a Macbook Air, and a trip for 2 to Hong Kong!
The lucky shoppers were guided to a specially designed booth where they get their surprise – a most coveted prize personally handed by celebrity endorsers Lorna Tolentino, Iya Villania, Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Patty Laurel-Filart and Christian Bautista!
The newest addition to the Watsons’ family, Lorna Tolentino, has switched to Watsons Generics for her medicine and vitamins. “Women at any age need to keep themselves looking and feeling healthy and with Watsons Generics, you are guaranteed to get quality medicine and save as much as 80 percent!”
Watsons Label believes that with more value from hard-earned money spent on quality affordable products, every Filipino gets more savings to enjoy the other important things in life with their loved ones. With a wider variety of products, from personal care items, beauty essentials, and now medicine, Asia’s leading personal care store provides smart shoppers the choice to save as much as 80 percent without compromising on quality.

They also commend the ease, convenience and good deals that their favorite store offers.
“On top of the savings they get from purchasing Watsons Label products, our loyal shoppers have also gotten used to receiving cute items and tokens, so this year we decided to raise the stakes and reward them with something truly unforgettable,” says Karen Fabres, Group Marketing Manager of Watsons Philippines
“Could it be a weekend staycation, airline tickets, maybe a shiny new gadget or phone or it could be the luxury item they have long been saving for, that is what makes the Switcher’s Surprise even more exciting,” adds Fabres. “Our customers shop at Watsons to save on the things they really want in life, but with the Switcher’s Surprise promo, they might just bring home that thing they’ve saving up for but with a single purchase,” Fabres says. “It’s definitely a lot easier to enjoy what life has to offer when you choose to Switch and Save the Watsons way.”

Paradise International Music Festival (Paradise IMF), the first-ever multi-genre music has just announced that Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa are officially completing their line-up for their April 9 Music Festival.
They have saved the best reveals for last, as these two rap superstars can make every stage and every minute with them, truly amazing. This announcement also had the local music world abuzz, as it hasn’t been long since these two rap superstars collided in a Twitter war.
A few months ago, the Twitter war began when Wiz Khalifa began tweeting shade against Yeezy when the Producer changed his album name from SWISH to WAVES. Things eventually blew to bigger proportions as when the artist started tweeting with regards to personal issues.
It was only until the end of January where the said artists had a ceasefire. Kanye having deleted his negative tweets regarding Wiz eventually tweeting “I’ma take these down ‘cause it’s all about positive energy”
It’s definitely very interesting to see them both on stage as Paradise IMF would be the first time they will be working together since the ceasefire. Also, it’s Yeezy’s first time in the Philippines!
The one day international music festival will happen on April 9, 2016 at the Aseana Open Grounds, Parañaque City and is produced by the experienced Boardworks Media Entertainment. Kanye West will be the main headliner, where Wiz Khalifa, Afrojack, Rudimental and Austine Mahone will be part of the lineup as well as some local acts.
Paradise also brings much awaited return of internationally known Swedish DJ AfroJack who still catches the ears of Manila’s nightlife.
In addition to the two big names earlier. To perform are the likes of young artist Austin Mahone, whose YouTube channel has sky rocketed him to fame into Billboard hit charts. Highly nominated artist Rudimental will also be there, known locally for their music video “Not Giving In” shot in the heart of Tondo.
Local acts also set to grace the stage are:
The very popular UP Dharma Down, Itchyworms, and Yolanda Moon.
Clara Benin will also be there so serenade everyone with her soulful voice.
Let’s not forget our local DJs, Joyce Prinr, DJ Nina, and Katsy Lee.
Aaaaand, let’s not forget, 4th Impact! They became even more popular after their stint at The X Factor UK.
The one day international music festival will happen on April 9, 2016 at the Aseana Open Grounds, Parañaque City and is produced by the experienced Boardworks Media Entertainment. Known for the successful international acts such as John Legend, Lifehouse and Chris Brown in Manila, Boardworks aims to treat music enthusiasts live performances from a wide variety of artists from different genres on a ten-hectare concert ground, with stages set up across the field for a uniquely immersive concert experience.
Paradise International Music Festival truly promises a musical experience like no other. Boardworks Media Entertainment co-owner Joshua Ylaya expects fans to come in from all over the globe; “We are very much getting ready to make this music festival the biggest yet – it is time to put the Philippines on the map as an international music destination.”

With everyone on smartphones these days, communication has been easy, instant, and accessible. A really fast way to express yourself in messaging or social media? by using EMOJIS. I’ve had lots on convos online when an emoji was the perfect way to convey a feeling. Using emojis also shorten the message, as one LOL smiley easily tells you that the person really finds something funny.
Emojis also serve as a fun way for communications to be deeper and more personal no matter the distance or the medium used. Whether it be through a phone or through a computer screen, Emojis are able to evoke feelings and ideas in a heartfelt way words may not be able to.
Another thing we Filipinos love to bond over? Food. We literally celebrate anything and everything just to bond over a delicious spread of food. Be it a birthday, anniversary, reunion, graduation, or even just finishing a simple test at school, food just brings us together.
Making memories with #EmojiMagic
Knowing that the marriage between Emojis and food is an awesome new way to create magical memories, Krispy Kreme officially launched their #EmojiMagic campaign just last February at their flagship store at Bonifacio High Street.
Aside from releasing their limited edition Emoji doughnuts, Krispy Kreme also had BGC’s first ever Emoji Park where patrons could partake in exciting interactive Emoji activities that included Personalized Emoji T-shirts, Emoji Face Painting, Emoji Ball Pit, Make-your-own Emoji Doughnut, and a Catch the Emoji game!
By using the award winning Krispy Kreme mobile app, anyone could join in on the fun at the Emoji Park!
I even got to put a chocolate glaze on my doughnut, along with sprinkles, and the new emojis, just like the kid above!
As mentioned above, other fun activities included face and body painting, nail art, and even a fun ball pit for kids!
My favorite part of the Emoji Park was the Catch the Emoji Game, where you can have a shirt printed with the emojis you catch!!!
Just like the girl above, I stepped on the platform and caught all the emojis! It was funny how a grown adult like myself was really competitive. Mind you, the shirt was really cute!!!
To share the mission and vision behind the campaign, Max’s Group, Inc. Chairperson and Krispy Kreme Philippine’s CEO Sharon T. Fuentebella explained that the three main ideas behind Krispy Kreme’s #EmojiMagic campaign are communication, customization, and sharing. Knowing that personalized creations make for a more meaningful experience.
The Emoji Doughnuts can be decorated with numerous Emojis to allow anybody to send a sweet message using as many or as few Emojis as they want. She also announced that this year-long campaign would commemorate several highlights, holidays, and special occasions throughout the year!
To explain the relevance of Emojis, especially to millennials, was Ariane Martinez-Valinton, Marketing Manager for Krispy Kreme Philippines. “Emojis are a great way to really express yourself and send a sweet message without saying a word!”
Here’s short film made by award winning director Pepe Diokno, to show you guys how to use Krispy Kreme Emoji Magic donuts to tell a story!
Carlo Fajardo, Krispy Kreme’s Asia Pacific Marketing Director excitedly announced that the Emoji Magic campaign—which is a Philippine initiative—is a first in the world, and is already generating enough buzz that other Asian countries are looking to spread their own Emoji Magic.
Spreading smiles, one doughnut at a time
From morning until evening, guests happily participated in the games and munched on personalized Emoji doughnuts while also decorating their own doughnuts to give away.
In the spirit of sharing and creativity, Krispy Kreme’s Emoji doughnuts are still available at all stores nationwide. Head to your nearest store now and send a sweet message without saying a word with Krispy Kreme’s creations!

With Resorts World Manila (RWM) aiming to be a destination for locals, tourists, and foreigners alike, Cafe Creole adds an interesting kick to RWM’s roster of casual dining restaurants. It’s this distinct vintage looking place tucked between brightly lit and extra vibrant cafes, offering authentic Creole or Louisiana cooking.
Cafe Creole is the brainchild of restaurateur Raymund Magdaluyo and celebrity chef Peter Ayson. It actually started as a project inspired by the late Murray Hertz, who was the visionary behind the widely popular Creole inspired restaurant, Murray’s New Orleans.
“Louisiana Creole cuisine is recognized as a unique style of cooking originating in New Orleans starting in the early 1700s. It makes use of what is called the Holy trinity. It has developed primarily from various European, African, and Native American historic culinary influences.” – University of West Florida (Cajun and Creole Cuisine)
The cafe gives you an instant feel of downtown Louisiana, with colorful artwork, vintage furniture, and lively Creole music. The lighting gives you a bit of a hush hush vibe, so it’s also great for those looking for a more intimate setting, but still in a vibrant background.
One look at the cafe and you can feel that the owners took time to make sure that every diner will have a great time here. The highly instagrammable walls serve as great backdrops for food shots, or even ootds, and fotds.
Cafe Creole Food
Creole food is characterized by the Cajun Holy Trinity. The holy trinity of Cajun cooking are onions, bell peppers and celery, which forms the base for Louisiana cooking. Most Creole dishes like étouffée, gumbo, and jambalaya all start from the holy trinity as a base. Other fragrant veggies like garlic, parsley, or shallots can also be used in addition to the three trinity ingredients depending on the dish.
There are two dishes that always comes to mind when talking about New Orleans. The most popular one being gumbo, and jambalaya as the second.
Gumbo is generally a hybrid stew based on seafood, or other meats. It is usually served with rice, although some prefer to eat the stew with French bread. One of the first vegetables to be used for the stew is actually okra, where the word gumbo came from, as gombo is the Louisiana French word for okra.
Jambalaya, on the other hand, is a variation of the Spanish paella. Jambalaya is actually an old French dialect word meaning mash-up. It is commonly made with seafood (usually shrimp) or chicken, or a combination of shrimp and chicken. Most versions contain smoked sausage, more commonly used instead of ham in modern versions.
They also have a Beignet and Coffee (Php 199) set, which includes 3 pcs beignets, toasted almonds, angel dust, plus choice of Creole Americano or Cafe Au Lait. A beignet is essentially a French donut, small pockets of dough deep fried and sprinkled with sugar.
So that’s that for my Cafe Creole experience, what do you guys think?
Can you feel the heat? I know I do!! These days, I’m always sweating buckets whenever I’m stepping out of the office, it’s just sooo hot! Meaning, summer’s just around the corner. Every tropical girl’s favorite season is finally here!!

I’ll be honest here, I have never been to a single run of CloseUp Forever Summer. I don’t know, I guess the idea of partying all night in the heat of the Manila summer, with lots of people, all of whom will be sticky or sweaty by the end of the night, didn’t appeal to me. After all, I’ve already done that in LaBoracay. Teehee.
This time around though, I’m going to CloseUp Forever 2016, because a) I currently have serious FOMO, and b) it’s the last one, so it’s #NowOrNever.
I got a couple of friends who’ve been to at least one CFS, and from what I’ve heard? They have nothing but praise for the highly anticipated summer event of the year.
Now, with Closeup Forever Summer finally coming to a close, you can expect for them to do it the only way they know how – with a bang. It’s #NowOrNever to seize the summer and make it one that will stay with you forever. This year, Closeup Forever Summer is bringing you the best of the best with the number 1 top rated DJ in the world. DJ duo Dimitri Martin & Like Mike, the creators of every anthem for international EDM festival Tomorrowland since 2010, will be gracing the stage this year to make sure that it will be the wildest CFS to date.
Itching to go already? Get your tickets now ‘cause the early bird discount promo is ending tomorrow, March 15!!!
If you’re like me, who has no idea what went on in the last CFS’s, here are 10 reasons why it’s such a great hit! (Taken from past runs):
1. The First Crowd-Sourced Festival in Manila.
During the first CFS, people went online to vote for their preferred theme, venue, genre and even artists, giving festival-goers the festival of their choosing. Think of it as the concert of your choice, doesn’t it feel more personal?
2. The Universo Robot.
In 2014, The Universo Robot pumped up and tripped out the crowd with his spectacle dance moves and overall good vibes.
3. The Captivating Light Show.
After #CloseupForeverSummer hit a certain amount of tweets, Closeup treated party-ers to a buzz-inducing light show to lift their spirits and hype the audience. The photo above was with DJ Eva Shaw, can’t you feel all the energy from that crowd?
4. Alesso’s first headlining gig in the Philippines.
Who else shed a tear when he played “If I Lose Myself”?
This was prolly one of the most buzzed about runs. Everybody took to Instagram to post videos of Alesso’s stage!!
5. Best of Both Musical Worlds.
In 2015, Closeup took Forever Summer a notch up. Instead of asking people to choose, they told them that they didn’t have to! CFS created a concert that had an indie theme in the day and transitioned into EDM at night.
6. The Art Village.
During the Indie-themed CFS, festival-goers had access to a collection of art installations where they enjoyed taking photos and even watching some live art being created before their very eyes. Talk about being different.
7. Australian Duo Headliners of CFS 2015.
Angus & Julia Stone took us for a ride, literally, with a big jet plane, with their sunset session of indie jams during last year’s Closeup Forever Summer.
8. DJ Prodigy Martin Garrix.
Garrix had the crowd wilding out like “Animals” as the Indie-themed CFS shifted into a neon EDM party in the evening and the beat took over the night.
9. The Pyro-Musical Show.
A breathtaking pyro-technic show lit up the sky to shower party-goers in the glow of their own revelry in the perfect way to end the memorable whole day of events.
Now, isn’t fireworks a great way to end the night? Not to mention the perfect romantic finale for everyone!
10. Getting Intensely Close With Friends.
The best part of any experience is its ability to create lasting memories with the people you care about the most. Can’t wait to be with these guys this May and party it out!!!
It’s #NowOrNever so grab your tickets at the cheapest rate. Early bird rate ends on March 15. So make the most of your summer, and live with no regrets.

Hidden inside the intimidating Sparta compound along Pioneer Street, is the newest concept cafe that takes coffee and cycling very seriously. Inspired by Western cycling cafes, Andy Leuterio, top triathlon coach and coffee aficionado, decided to created a space where he can marry his two great passions, cycling and coffee.
Named after his son Max, Andy and his wife Sheryll created Maximus Athlete’s Shop Cafe, a cycling concept store and cafe all rolled into one. On one side is the bike shop, carrying products for cycling and running, as well as training technology, and athlete nutrition. The other side is a cafe carrying great tasting coffee and equally good pairings.
The exterior of Maximus is very simple, having only this lit up signage outside the imposing cemented wall. Inside though, is a well lit, spacious 280 foot square, decorated by Sheryll. The result is a heavily industrial warehouse inspired shop, with personal trinkets here and there, as well as cute decorations to soften the space up.
Bikes, Retail Goods and other Services
The shop carries a lot of well loved cycling brands like Specialized, top of the line brand Lynskey (considered as the Rolls-Royce of bikes), Newton Running,
Oakley, Garmin, Suunto, Polar, and Brooks, among others. I even spotted GoPros and GoPro accessories among the display. For athlete nutrition, they also carry Enervon Carb Gel, Gu, Nuun, Bonk Breaker and E-Gel.
What sets Maximus a step above other cycling stores is that each bike has its own pedestal and with ambient lighting to match, allowing shoppers a lot of room to examine each one. They also got rid of the conventional cramped bike displays and went for a roomy easy-on-the-eyes design.
Maximus has a VIP lounge at the mezzanine level, a full-service bike spa, and a bike fitting studio. The bike spa looks like a handyman’s workshop, where they do repairs, attachments of accessories and other customizations.
The bike fitting studio also showcases Coach Andy’s various trophies and awards. Coach Andy is a Level 2 Certified Body Geometry Fit Specialist, making sure that each bike is tailor fit to your body, improving power, endurance, and comfort during rides.
At Maximus, they take their coffee seriously, using precise techniques and only the finest ingredients available. Currently, they offer signature single origin blends. I am no coffee expert, but as I understand, single origin means that the beans are taken from a single location, be it a farm or country. Believe it or not different landscapes with different elevations or conditions give coffee beans a distinct flavor profile.
Maximus currently gets their coffee supplies from YKW Handcrafted Coffee Roasters and Bean and Barley. EDSA Beverage Design Group (EDSA BDG), the one behind YKW, was actually Maximus’s first partner is learning the art of preparing great coffee. The baristas, together with Andy took courses and were trained at EDSA BDG. They have just started sourcing from Bean and Barley, and their new beans are from them.
On our visit, they had these coffee beans:
Ethiopia Sidamo Hunkute: fruity and citrusy
Spartacus Costa Rica and Brazil (house blend): dark chocolate and roasted almond flavor
Guatemala Huehuetenango: distinctive and delicate fruity, with a fairly light body
Burundi Rurira: light citrus and cinnamon
Honduras Francisco Morazan: peach and cacao
Philippine Lipa Tipakan: local barako coffee
For their single origin brews, they do slow drip and pour over methods to make coffee. As I mentioned before, they were trained by the EDSA BDG team. They offer basic cold brew, and are planning to offer cold brew mixes, aeropress, and coffee cocktails in the future.
Pictured here is the pour over Chemex method, using the Ethiopia coffee beans.
The result is a light bodied fruity coffee. Surprisingly not as acidic as I expected. Note that, again, I’m not a big fan of coffee, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it had that distinct citrus flavor.
We also got to try the Cappuccino, and with a simple heart latte art to go with it too!
If you’re looking for something different, you can get the Dark Matter Strawberry Blast. The taste is like a light strawberry milkshake, with a hint of coffee. It’s very refreshing, especially since summer is here.
For food, Maximus has pasta, sandwiches, pastries and cakes.
The sandwiches are actually their highlighted food product, because it is the closest they could offer to the panini that cyclists actually eat.
The Aligue Pasta is very good, with the crab fat adding only the right amount of grease and savory flavor, and the lemon balancing out everything with acidity. They also have other pastas like Puttanesca, Marinara, etc.
For sandwiches, we got to try both the Chorizo, and Spanish Sardine. They both have feta, mozzarella, cream cheese, and veggies like tomato onions and lettuce. Personally I liked the chorizo better.
For the cakes, we tried Blueberry Cheesecake, Red Velvet, and Moist Chocolate Cake. I loved the Blueberry Cheesecake, because the cream cheese wasn’t lost in the heavy cream. The cakes all go really well with their coffee, so cake coffee pairings here are just perfect.
So there, overall it was a great experience. The pricing here is much cheaper than usual coffee shops, so you get more bang for your buck. I love the interiors here because aside from the great lighting (hello flatlays!), it’s a great marriage of industrial elements and shabby chic cute ones.
Maximus Athlete’s Shop Cafe Address: Sparta Sports and Recreational Training Arena Compound 126
Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City Opening Hours: 11am to 8pm, Monday to
Friday and 8am to 8pm on Saturday.
It’s no secret that I love Avène products. In most of my skincare product flatlays, I always have one bottle of Eau Thermale Avène Thermal Spring Water included. I was super ecstatic when I got tapped to do a testimonial video and short review on the newly formulated Micellar Lotion, Avène’s makeup remover for sensitive skin.
Here’s a video posted on the Avène Facebook Page, where they showed what happened in the media launch of the product, including a glimpse of the testimonial video, and makeup demos!
During the event, Eau Thermale Avène highlighted its New Formula Micellar Lotion as the perfect companion for Filipino women who are looking for the best make-up remover in the country. “Many women in the Philippines are finding new and effective ways to look their best, and what better way to match this than by introducing a makeup remover that is powerful enough to get rid of the strongest ingredients found in cosmetics,” Harry Tsai—the General Manager of Karihome Inc. which distributes Avène products to the Philippines, shares that, “With this product, Filipino women who have sensitive skin can still wear their favorite makeup without worry of skin irritation after washing it.”
“Eau Thermale Avène’s New Formula Micellar Lotion has a top-of-the-line makeup removing efficacy. Its micellar cleansing agent captures skin impurities like a magnet. It is proven effective on waterproof and long-lasting cosmetic products applied on the face, eyes and lips. Its upgraded Micellar Lotion has a unique formula that adapts to even the most sensitive skin,” Tsai said.
What’s best about the Micellar Lotion, according to Tsai, is its 93-percent Avène Thermale Spring Water content which soothes and softens the skin, and restores its natural balance. This ingredient is medically proven to contain healing properties—soothing, anti-irritating and anti-inflammatory, as well as anti-free radicals—that make it suitable for allergic reactions, burning, stinging, itching and tingling sensations.
“Because of its hydrating action, the Micellar Lotion guarantees comfort for all skin types and greater hydrating efficacy than other brands,” Tsai reinforces. “Compared with the old formula, the New Micellar Lotion has more effective and gentler emollient properties. In just three hours, the users will be able to see visible hydration in their skin.”
Now more of the event and my makeup transformation!
This is Ms. Jean Lu, Karihome’s Marketing Manager. Can you believe she’s already in her 40s? She’s been an Avène user for more than a decade and looking at her just shows you how Avène really worked for her skin.
Dr. Christene Arandia, a practicing dermatologist, also shared a few tips and advice to take care of skin especially for women using makeup. It was a short talk where she shared that the Avène Micellar Lotion is a great makeup remover because it gently cleanses skin while hydrating at the same time.
Avène showed a video of me, Gretchen, and Genzel, and our testimonials using the Avène Micellar Lotion. Stay tuned to the end of my post for a short clip of my testimonial!
Chuchie Ledesma, internationally trained makeup artist for Maybelline Philippines, was the one who did the makeup demo. On Gretchen, she did a simple everyday look, while she did a dramatic night look on me.
First Chuchie cleanses the face with Avène New Formula Micellar Lotion, and proceeds to do the light makeup.
Afterwards, it was my turn. Again, the first step was to cleanse my skin with
Avène New Formula Micellar Lotion before the application of makeup
To make the look dramatic, Chuchie did bold lips and a subtle smoky eye on me.
And tada! Here’s a before and after comparison of my makeup.
Gretchen and I after having our makeup done!
Here’s a short clip of my testimonial on the Avène New Formula Micellar Lotion, I’ll try to upload the full video with the three of us so you guys can also compare how awkward I was compared to Youtube Vlogger Genzel, and seasoned beauty blogger Gretchen. 🙂
What do you think of my clip? Was I too stiff?
I actually filmed a video of myself removing makeup using the Avène New Formula Micellar Lotion, and hopefully I get to upload it soon together with a thorough review of this gentle makeup remover. Watch out fot it! 🙂
