Month: February 2016

CBTL goes Light and Sweet for their first featured beverage this 2016!

Meet the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf®’s (CBTL) newest offering for 2016, the Vanilla Almond Latte and Ice Blended Beverage. CBTL starts the year with a light and sweet note, the Almond Latte being the first of four featured beverages for the year.

The coffee authority definitely does not disappoint its loyal patrons as it gifts them with yet another comforting beverage that combines the brand’s signature rich espresso with a creamy French Deluxe™ Vanilla and almond sauce.

Perfect for quiet, reflective moments in a café or intimate, relaxed celebrations among friends, the Vanilla Almond beverage is a light and sweet surprise that is teeming with flavorful promises for the year ahead. You can enjoy the Vanilla Almond beverage as a latte and let it warm your soul or take it as an ice blended drink to cool off during hectic days.

What’s interesting about the drink is that the almond sauce offers a great depth to the flavor of the vanilla. It doesn’t overpower the drink, but adds a sharpness to it that keeps it exciting.

Personally, I love pairing the Vanilla Almond Latte with the chocolate lava cake, but it’s also good with the salads. Enjoy it now while it’s still available!!! Remember, it might only be available for the first quarter of the year!

Don’t forget to use the #lightandsweet hashtag when you’ve posted about your light and sweet experience. For more updates on The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, check them out and follow them @CBTLPH on Instagram and

Ayala gives you more reasons to LovEm Ayala Malls!

Love month is almost over, but the festivities are still ongoing at your favorite Ayala Mall! As the premier lifestyle destination for shopping and dining, this season, Ayala Malls provides fun activities for the young and the young-at-heart, lovers and friends, artists and muses, etc.

Art to HeART

As French novelist Honore de Balzac once said, “Love is not only a feeling, it is also art.” Ayala Malls, an avid supporter of the arts and propagator of culture, gathers the most talented, young artists in the country and provides for them a canvas on which they can fully express their love for life and their passions.

In the HeART series, Ayala Malls stages an awe-inspiring exhibit of art installations starting February 14. All these artistic masterpieces range from whimsical to quirky, with at least one piece inside your favorite Ayala Mall.

In Glorietta, find the beautiful works of artist Mercedes Olondriz and renowned crafter and pattern designer Alessandra Lanot (loved her watercolor workshop!!!). Camy Francisco-Cabral and The Googly-Gooeys will be beautifying the spaces of Market!Market! and Serendra, respectively.

Designer Francis Libiran showcases his romantic interpretations in Greenbelt. I personally love his creations, and these gowns are just perfect for the occasion.

Filipino-American graffiti artist Dee Jae Pa’este creates an artwork reflecting a “mixture of old world aesthetics and new world consciousness in Bonifacio High Street.

In Alabang Town Center, Bambi Manosa and Kids4Kids, Sam Galvez-Lorenzo of Village Art Gallery, and Patrick Cabral of Bucketfeet will display their creative whims at the live art presentation.

Young artists –Kris Abrigo, Egg Fiasco and Seikon – proudly share their more contemporary touches in Trinoma, while UP Town Center allows the graffiti-inspired art of Drone takes center stage.

EXL D, another wildly talented young artist, paints the spaces of Fairview Terraces with colorful imaginings of everyday life, taking inspiration from pop-culture.

At the Marquee Mall in Pampanga, Marcushiro and Bru of Electrolychee will amaze the public with their colorful vector art and hand-drawn imagery. Renowned young artist Farley Del Rosario’s amusing works, on the other hand, will be on display in Harbor Point Mall.

Down south in Solenad, Serin and The District Imus, artists Tripp 63, Chill, BLIC, and Fine Arts students of Adventist University of the Philippines will bring a thriving street vibe through colorful, graffiti-inspired art work.

Catch community-based artists for the Vismin Malls. At Abreeza Mall, visual art students from the University of Mindanao explore the “Lov’em” theme in different media.

Discover and relish the creative whims inspired by love, only at Ayala Malls.
