Create something different, with Mega Sardines

Yesterday, as we were looking for someplace to eat after Visita Iglesia, we had a difficult time looking for a restaurant serving lent-friendly food, meaning no meat. After a long time of driving around, we just settled on the Yellow Cab branch along Katipunan, and just ordered their lent friendly choices.
As I was looking at the menu, I realized that I haven’t blogged about Mega Sardines yet, and how they offered recipes that were actually perfect for the lenten season. Sometime last week, I was invited to their media launch for their upcoming cooking show entitled Everyday Creations, airing next April 4, Friday, at 6:30 pm, on the Lifestyle Channel.

Chicken Wings: Best Enjoyed Buffalo Style
This day, was actually a very lucky day for me. Teehee, more on that on a later post :)
I was feeling really bouncy, light, fun, and happy that day, so I wanted a really colorful outfit to match my mood. What do you think? was I able to pull it off?
Now enough about my outfit, and on to the really great food, which was actually the reason behind the title of this post. :)
A few months ago, I purchased this Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things deal from Deal Grocer. Z and I were a huge fans of chicken wings, so we decided to try it, and boy did we have great time. :)

One thing that really got Z’s attention, were the choices for the sauce. He loved eating spicy food, so the flavors Nuclear, and Armageddon won him over, and we bought the deal immediately. We even got two coupons! which meant that instead of 300 pesos for every 500 worth of food, we got the 600 pesos for every 1000 worth. So yeah, we really ordered a lot. Everything was really affordable, so our 1000 pesos went a long way.
Overall, it was a great food experience, service was absolutely awesome! I highly recommend giving tips to the two-in-one waitress and cashier girl in the Sgt. Esguerra branch. She was very friendly, and knew a lot about the food, which was great since we had a lot of questions, plus, she catered to our every whim. Thumbs up for service!
