A young crowd gathered at Mercato Centrale a few weeks ago, to celebrate fashion, food, music and art all in one night. It was TOMS Good Folk Fest, where proceeds will go to TOMS’ “One for One” Movement, by which WE International is a beneficiary.
If you remember, I already invited everyone to come to the event with this post, and now I’m going to give you guys, (those who weren’t there anyway), a run through of the amazing things that happened that night :)
The beautiful and talented Nicole Andersson (photo above) hosted the gig, I honestly never knew how great her hosting skills were until this event, so I was pleasantly surprised. :)

Each guest’s pass/ticket came with these coupon cards that you could exchange for discounts or freebies! Discounts + Freebies, that sounds so great for a bargain seeker like me! And spot the cute Good Folk Fest Cupcakes too! (cupcakes by: Little Bites)

the HUGE BONUS: Seeing fab bloggers Laureen Uy, Camille Co, and Patricia Prieto there, in support of their good friend Nicole! On another note, Mike Concepcion, the new etcHQ host, was actually also there, prolly ‘cause etc was a sponsor, and boy was he tall. O.O. midget like I am stands no chance. LOL.

And because we were already in the middle of Midnight Mercato, might as well have a look around and have a mini food trip! :) (In photo: scrumptious Wagyu Paella, you can never go wrong with Wagyu! even if its a bit pricey:))

Aizel and Adson (not in photo) accompanied me to the event, thanks guys!

See that donation jar there? Even though everyone there has coupons for free popcorn, the TOMS Good Folk Fest encouraged everyone to still give donations as everything was for a good cause anyway. I thought this was a very good idea, because each one of us was given the option to pay/donate whatever amount we had, big or small. :)

Got myself a free Zalora Voucher too :)
And now we go to the Music part of the event, performances included the following groups: Techy Romantics, Bee Eyes, Luigi D’Avola, Walkie Talkies, Yolanda Moon, Carla Manglapus and the Executives. The special guest DJ on the other hand, was THE DJ Callum David. With this lineup, no wonder we had a lot of fun!

Our favorite was actually The Executives! They are named such becuase they are actually company bigwigs with a passion for music. In their spare time, the band members showcase their love for music with performances such as this one. :)

Live Art by: Dee Jae Pa’este and Frank Magalona
For the Art part, there was a blank wall where the artists were to create a mural/painting right on the spot! Everyone was also allowed to write/scribble signatures on the art after the artists were done.

Showing off my Pitaka wallet, which you might have already seen in this post, as well as my funky nails. :) Note: Bracelets from Bedazzle Accessories

See that frothy drink right there? It’s Mocktail Madness’ unspiked version of one of my favorite cocktails, Sex on the Beach, it was a bit sour for my taste, but good nonetheless.
Disclaimer: we didn’t drink beer, those San Mig bottles are our tablemates’, yup, we shared our table! :)

Chambray Polo: Greenhills, Tank Top: Promod, Shorts, Mango
Pardon the droopy eyes, twas late, and I was sort of sleepy, plus, I had 7am class the day after :)

Taclings! I always order these whenever I see them at Christmas bazaars :)

See here! Aizel posing happily with the accomodating Mocktail Madness staff. :)

AAAnd introducing, my long lost Xavierian friend (we met during Xiamen China Study Tour 2004), Jordan, who I haven’t seen for more than 7 years!
Now what Mercato post would be complete without food shots!

See those striped ones? they’re called seafood buns, if you find any at shabu shabu restaurants, make sure to order them! As well as with mozzarella balls, they’ve both got ooey gooey goodness when cooked. :)

I was actually quite intrigued by this one, wonder what it tastes like? Too bad I was already too full when I found it. :(

Btw, I won this Nuvos bluetooth headset at the event, yay! YAY FOR FREE STUFF! YAY FOR WINNING! trololol

Meet Jem, my original best friend! haha. We were best friends in grade school, but we grew apart in high school and got into separate barkadas. With all that, we still love each other nonetheless. :) Jem, when you read this, thank you for my tickets! Jem happens to be part of the team that organized this event, the Good Folks of DLSU.
